So let me say this I am not a writer. I am more confident speaking than I am writing. But certain thoughts and ideas have been heavy on my mind and I felt the need to express them. I know this isn't the typical blog that you might come across on Hasnode, but people in tech have feelings too right? I mean I guess some of you could be robots which if that is the case no big deal. I feel like we get bombarded with tutorials on the next best thing and how to earn more money. But what about more of the personal aspect of this career path?

I spoke about being a beginner in my first post, and that is 100% true. So I am mostly speaking to people at the start of their journey because that's all I know at the moment. I want to tell you not to rush and get overwhelmed. There is so much information that you could start to feel that you will never grasp it. Maybe you started too late and you're wasting your time. I have had all those feelings and at times still do. But don't get caught up in the hype. Game recognize game. Just understand that people are out here getting their money in any way possible. Some of those people want you to feel confused and frustrated. Those feelings equal more views for them and a better payday.

Just take things one step at a time. You are going to explore different topics and that's natural because there is a lot to soak in. You're going to probably stress over which stack to use which is funny because as a beginner you won't even know what that means. But don't give up. If you want to succeed you will. Some people learn faster than others but who cares. Just do the best you can and don't compare yourself to others. The gold at the end of the rainbow is getting the job you want. There is no shortcut or magic formula. So don't get caught up in the hype and then realize you were sold a pot of empty promises.

To all the vets in the coding world. What about coding has affected your life for the better or the worse? What have you sacrificed emotionally or socially? I would love to hear some insight from you. I am sure all of us beginners and newbies would love to hear that what we might be feeling at times is natural and other people have felt the same way.
